Major New Zealand Criminals

Recently in INT, we have all chosen a topic to research and write about that is to do with New Zealand, I chose to research different famous criminals. One of the criminals I chose to research was prison escapee George Wilder. George escaped prison 3 different times. The first escape George was serving time for burglary and car theft when he scaled the highest wall in New Plymouth Prison. When he was on the run, his ability to stay one step ahead from the rozzers amused the public eye. The Harrison Morrison Quartet wrote a song about his exploits ‘George Wild(er) N.Z. Boy’.

My Tin Poem!

Tin Poem

Recently in class, we created a "tin poem". This was part of a nationwide activity where thousands of students also participated in this activity but we aren't sure of what their poems are. We are waiting for ours to be delivered.

A tin poem is when you grab a random object out of a tin and write what you can see on it and what you can feel.

The tin was in a box, on the box it said "THIS BOX CAN WRITE 96,000 POEMS"

After doing this activity I have learned how to make a poem!

Curious Cove

Last week we went to Curious Cove. We did some walking. We also did some kayaking. I caught a kingfish.
